About Us
Hi-gain offer guitar and bass lessons in Sheffield, South Yorkshire to students of all ages and ability levels. Our local studio located inside a rehearsal space provides students with a positive musical environment and the opportunity to mix with other local bands and musicians.

Our tutors know many of our students would relish the opportunity to play to large crowds and be in the world's biggest band since Led Zeppelin, but we also understand that many want to play simply for their own enjoyment and personal satisfaction.
Therefore our lessons are structured to put you in control of your own musical destiny pushing you to become the musician you've always wanted to be.

CRB - Piece of mind
Our tutors are all CRB checked, highly experienced and talented local musicians who can advise you on practically any music related matter, from what books you need to where to go to see the best local bands.
Get Qualified
We offer our students the opportunity to achieve grading's in several nationally recognised exam boards including Rockschool, Registry of Guitar Tutors, ABRSM and Trinity College.
These grades provide students with a greater understanding of their instrument and are a great start for students pursuing music at school, college and university.
Need an Instrument?
We provide instruments for hire that students can take home to practice with. This provides new beginners with the opportunity to get started before paying for an expensive instrument. Our tutors can then advise on the right instrument for you ensuring that you get the best out of your learning experience.
